This painting was born from a moment of stillness - the kind where the world goes quiet, but your mind is screaming poetry. I was inspired by that eerie calm where nature feels like it’s holding its breath, and the things we do not say hang heavier than the things we do.
The distant castle represents memory - something grand but unreachable. The woodland and its mirrored reflection speak to duality: seen vs. felt, surface vs. depth. And the floating crystal balls? They symbolise the fragile truths we carry but rarely share- silent, weightless, and full of meaning.
I created this piece as a visual sigh, a way to explore the power of what remains unspoken. It’s not loud, but it lingers. Just like secrets....
